basical you have two options to solve this.
The first option is to modify the code of the class InventDimCtrl_Frm_OnHand, method modifyQuery.
This methods gets called every time the executequery method of the inventsum datasource gets executed. This methods does some query manipulation to fit the query to the selected inventory fields of inventdim. But, this is the more complex way to solve your problem.
The easier way is just to add the InventTable as a new Datasource to the form. Set LinkType to innerjoin and JoinSource to InventSum.
Overwrite the init method of your new Datasource and create a range for the ItemGroupId field. To access the range from other methods please store the variable for this queryrange in the classdeclaraion.
Write a new methods which gets the current selection out of your filter control and sets the range value to it.
Now override the executeQuery method of the InventSum DataSource an dcall your new method to set the range value.
At the last call InventSum_DS.executequery inside the modified methdo of for form control (the filter).
Both ways working for me.
The first one has a better performnace because less data will be read. But it takes some time to figure out how to modify the standard code.
The second is the easier and even faster way, but has some disadvantages like performance.
